update: brushed out this morning ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow
there is a filthy lie that straight hair only locks up when it is unclean. it *also* locks up when it is dead/damaged and in *this* circumstance shampooing it a lot only makes it more prone to locking up, Ask Me How I Know
